Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: May 2025 | Johnson Academy
At Johnson Academy, we are committed to delivering a high-quality online learning experience. This policy sets out your rights regarding cancellations and refunds when purchasing courses from our platform. As we provide digital learning content, our policy is tailored specifically to online course purchases. Please read this carefully before completing a purchase.
1. Your 14-Day Cancellation Right
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of the transaction date and receive a full refund — provided you have not yet accessed or started the course content.
The 14-day cooling-off period begins on the date your purchase is confirmed. To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us before the window closes and before accessing any course material.
⚠️ Important: If you begin accessing any part of the course content within the 14-day period, you will be waiving your right to cancel. By starting the course, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of digital content and acknowledge that your statutory cancellation right no longer applies.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a cancellation or refund, please contact our support team and include the following:
- Your full name and registered email address
- Your order or purchase confirmation number
- The name of the course you purchased
- The reason for your cancellation request
📧 Email us at: [email protected]
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
We are unable to issue a refund in the following circumstances:
- You have accessed or begun any part of the course content
- The 14-day cancellation window has expired
- Your account has been suspended or terminated due to a breach of our Terms & Conditions
- The refund request relates to course content quality — as course content is provided by third-party instructors and Johnson Academy is not liable for instructor-delivered material
4. Course Content & Third-Party Instructors
Courses on Johnson Academy are delivered by professional instructors and third-party providers. While we take care to list quality content, Johnson Academy is not responsible for the accuracy, relevance, or completeness of individual course materials — responsibility for course content lies with the respective instructor.
If you have concerns about course content, we encourage you to raise them with our support team and we will do our best to assist.
5. Late or Missing Refunds
If your refund has been approved but has not yet appeared, please follow these steps:
- Check your bank account or payment method — it can take a few business days to show.
- Contact your card provider or bank, as processing times vary between institutions.
- If you have done both and the refund has still not appeared after 10 business days, please get in touch with us directly.
6. Technical Issues & Access Problems
If you are experiencing any technical difficulties that are preventing you from accessing a course you have purchased, please contact our support team as soon as possible. We will work to resolve the issue promptly.
Technical difficulties do not automatically entitle you to a refund, but we will always handle such situations fairly and ensure you receive the access you paid for.
7. Contact & Support
